Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Our mission is to give readers reliable answers they can act on. These standards guide everything we publish.
Research from official sources
Every guide is based on primary and official sources wherever possible — for example IRS.gov for taxes, SSA.gov for Social Security, FTC and CFPB guidance for consumer rights, HealthCare.gov and CMS for health coverage, and travel.state.gov for passports. We list our main sources at the end of every guide so readers can check them.
Written for real people
We write in plain English, explain unavoidable jargon, and organize guides as clear steps and checklists. We avoid sensational headlines and never publish clickbait.
Accuracy and review
Before publishing, guides are checked against their sources. Figures that change often — such as tax amounts, fees and processing times — are described carefully, and we point readers to the official page for the current number.
Keeping guides up to date
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review guides regularly and when rules change, and we update them as needed.
Corrections
When we make a mistake, we fix it promptly. Readers can report errors to hamzanasiiir00@gmail.com with the page link. Significant corrections are noted in the updated guide.
Independence
We are non-partisan and independent. We do not accept payment to cover, recommend or criticize any product, company, candidate or policy. Advertising, including Google AdSense, is displayed separately from our content, and advertisers have no influence over it.
Headlines
Our homepage may show a small box of recent public headlines from NPR. These are clearly labeled, link to the original publisher, and are not written or edited by us.
